Walter Lee Bassham

Walter Lee was born on August 17th, 1892 in Fannin Co., Texas.¹ Walter Lee's father was Leroy F. Basham and his mother was Maria Josephine Roberts. His paternal grandparents were William F. Bassham and Dianah B. Hall. He had two brothers and a sister, named Willie Lane, George Washington and Elizabeth Annie. He was the youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Ada L., Ider and Susan (Susie). He died at the age of 86 on November 9th, 1978 in Upshur Co., Texas.¹
