Zeph Basham 
Zeph was born about 1879 in Fannin Co., Texas.1 Zeph's father was Johnson Basham and his mother was Malvina Carpenter. His paternal grandparents were William Basham and Sarah Unknown. He had two brothers named James and Luther S.. He was the youngest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Francis Marion (Frank), William, Mary E., Minerva Jane and Martha M.. He died after 1880.1 General Notes
