William Basham 
William was born about 1853 in Mississippi.1 William's father was Johnson Basham and his mother was Susan A. Unknown. His paternal grandparents were William Basham and Sarah Unknown. He had a brother and three sisters, named Francis Marion (Frank), Mary E., Minerva Jane and Martha M.. He was the youngest of the five children. He had three half-brothers named James, Luther S. and Zeph. He died after 1860.1 General Notes
