William Ollie was born on April 22nd, 1885 in Fordsville, Ohio Co., Kentucky.1 William Ollie's father was Thomas McClellan (Tom) Basham and his mother was Laura Belle White. His paternal grandparents were Allen Dowell Basham and Elizabeth D WOLF. He had a brother and four sisters, named Ira Thomas, Eliza Margaret, Luticia Frances, Laura M. and Mattie B..
