Thomas Edward Basham 
Thomas Edward was born on September 3rd, 1869 in Woodbury, Cannon Co., Tennessee.1 Thomas Edward's father was James M. Basham and his mother was Mary Ann Stafford. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Basham and Elizabeth McComb. He had four brothers and two sisters, named James H. (Big Jimmy), Alvis Grant, Adam D., Manoah (Noah), Sarah E (Betty) and Mary Maggie. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named Jonathan Isaiah. He died at the age of 76 in November 1945 in McMinnville, Warren0 Tennessee.1 General Notes

ed by Re v. H. M. Randle, pastor of the second Baptist church of McMinnvil
le.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion cemetery. Born in Cannon county Septemb
er 3, 1 859, he was a son of the late James Basham and Mary Stafford Basha
m. He h ad resided in Warren county since a small boy. Survivors inclu
de a daught er Annie Basham, of Warren county, two brothers Noah Basham, W
arren count y, and Adam Basham, of Cannon county; and two sisters, Mrs. Jo
hn Pelha m, of Morrison, and Mrs. Bettie Wilson, of Murfreesboro.
