Lou Ella Basham 
Lou Ella was born on January 17th, 1878 in Barren Co., Kentucky.1 Lou Ella's father was Beuford B. Basham and her mother was Mary Jane Hall. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan Basham and Mahala Preston; her maternal grandparents were William Hall and Louisa (Eliza) Dickerson. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Virgil Nathan, Harvey, William Luthur, John 'Henry', Walter, Nora Bell, Infant Daughter, Eva Linda, Manda Lizzie and Gertrude 'Gertie'. She was the third oldest of the eleven children. She died about 1965.1 General Notes
