James Lester Basham 
James Lester was born on June 7th, 1891 in Kentucky.1 James Lester's father was Alexander Campbell (Eleck) Basham and his mother was Polly Willis. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Wesley (Rev) Basham and Martha (Mary) Jane Williams; his maternal grandfather is John Willis. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Virgil Homer, Oral Talmadge, Oran Edward, Edna Abigail and Ollie Eunice. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 86 on September 12th, 1977 in Butler Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
