Virgil Homer Basham 
Virgil Homer was born on February 17th, 1885 in Kentucky.1 Virgil Homer's father was Alexander Campbell (Eleck) Basham and his mother was Polly Willis. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Wesley (Rev) Basham and Martha (Mary) Jane Williams; his maternal grandfather is John Willis. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Oral Talmadge, Oran Edward, James Lester, Edna Abigail and Ollie Eunice. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 66 on July 1st, 1951 in Butler Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
