Hazel Basham 
Hazel was born on September 28th, 1907 in Hillsboro, Hill Co., Texas.1 Hazel's father was Albert Bland Bassham and her mother was Nancy Jane (Nanny) Mitchell. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph L. Bassham and Sarah O. Griffin. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Raymond D., Audrey Brand (A B), Rubye, Thelma and Jewell. She was the third youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 78 on August 31st, 1986 in Dallas, Dallas Co., Texas.1 General Notes
