George Kyle Basham 
George Kyle was born on October 11th, 1882 in Floyd Co., Virginia.1 George Kyle's father was John Ellis Basham and his mother was Ellen Richards. His paternal grandparents were Hillory H. Basham and Sarah Ridinger; his maternal grandparents are John Richards and Martha Harris. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named Nathan H., Brainard Hayden, Archie Leonard, Robert Letcher, John Taswell, Doc Roscoe (Peach), Harless, William Hubert, Carrrie, Leona Belle, Florence Elyna, Laura and Allie S..
