Elva Lee Basham 
Elva Lee was born on September 29th, 1906 in Kentucky.1 Elva Lee's father was James 'Clinton' Basham and his mother was Louella Thomas Mitchell. His paternal grandparents were William Francis Basham and Elizabeth West; his maternal grandfather was William Ninnian Mitchell and his maternal grandmother is Melinda Spears. He had a brother and seven sisters, named William Lafe, Melinda Elizabeth, Flossie Miriam, Thena Isobel, Ada May, Lula Anna, Unnamed Infant and Ruby Margaret. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died after 1920.1 General Notes
