Flossie Miriam Basham 
Flossie Miriam was born on March 2nd, 1894 in Louisville, Kentucky.1 Flossie Miriam's father was James 'Clinton' Basham and her mother was Louella Thomas Mitchell. Her paternal grandparents were William Francis Basham and Elizabeth West; her maternal grandfather was William Ninnian Mitchell and her maternal grandmother is Melinda Spears. She had two brothers and six sisters, named William Lafe, Elva Lee, Melinda Elizabeth, Thena Isobel, Ada May, Lula Anna, Unnamed Infant and Ruby Margaret. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 89 on August 28th, 1983 in Irvinton, Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.
