Elbert Basham 
Elbert was born on September 22nd, 1893 in Shrewsbury, Grayson Co., Kentucky.1 Elbert's father was Galen D Basham and his mother was Susan (Sadie) Miller. His paternal grandparents were John McDonald Basham and Mary Jane Milam. He had two brothers named Estell and Hubert. He was the oldest of the three children. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Shelby, Nathel A., Lilbern, William Ralph, Thelma and Jno Thomas. He died at the age of 72 on February 9th, 1966 in Madison, Jefferson Co., Indiana.1 General Notes
