John McDonald Basham 
John McDonald was born on September 10th, 1851 in Grayson Co., Kentucky.1 John McDonald's father was Francis F. Basham and his mother was Mary A. Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Barnett A. Basham and Fanny Hall. He had a brother and two sisters, named William A. (Rev), Josephine and Hester Ann. He was the youngest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Stephen 'Hardin', Foster Thomas and Eliza Jane. He died at the age of 64 on April 10th, 1916 in Grayson Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
