Callahill M. (Calvin) was born about September 1844 in Virginia.1 Callahill M. (Calvin)'s father was Elijah Basham and his mother was Lucinda Pagans. His paternal grandparents were John, Jr. Basham and Frances (Franky) Meadors. He had a brother and five sisters, named William Clementine, Ann Cora, Diannah, Elvira, Eliza and Spicer A..
