Bennie Jane Basham 
Bennie Jane was born on June 21st, 1895 in Kentucky.1 Bennie Jane's father was Samuel 'Green' Basham and her mother was Nancy Jane Johnson. Her paternal grandparents were Benajah Anderson Basham and Nancy E. Turner. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William Henry (Evans), Riley Palestine (Tiny), Lonnie Valentine, Edward Calvin, Mary Isbell, Ellen Paradine and Nellie Caroline. She had nine half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Morgan Mayberry, Velmer, Tony Bedford, Millard Thomas, James Marion, John Vollie, Samuel Green (Sam), Charles Frank, Living, Minnie Pearl, Urline B. and Living. She died at the age of 42 on September 3rd, 1937.1 General Notes
