Albert Jasper Basham 
Albert Jasper was born on October 10th, 1874 in Red Sulphur Spgs, Mercer Co., W Va.1 Albert Jasper's father was Joseph A. Basham and his mother was Mary (Polly) A. Dillion. His paternal grandparents were John Basham and Catherine Ball; his maternal grandparents are Acquilla Green Dillon and Lucinda Spradlin. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Lewis Allen, Rufus H., William T., Martha Ann, Emma, Arthur D., Rebecca K. and Ellen T.. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 79 on February 18th, 1954.1 General Notes
