Edgar Burnice was born on February 28th, 1905 in Lashmeet, Mercer Co., W Virginia.1 Edgar Burnice's father was Albert Jasper Basham and his mother was Virginia Dosha Bailey. His paternal grandparents were Joseph A. Basham and Mary (Polly) A. Dillion; his maternal grandparents are William C. Bailey and Mary Unknown. He had a brother and a sister, named Emmett and Everette. He died at the age of 88 on October 6th, 1993 in West Virginia.1 General Notes
