Sarah E was born in 1816.1 Sarah E's father is John Straley and her mother is Elizabeth Wilson. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Straley and Martha M. French. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Charles D, Harrison W, Louisa, Martha, Valeria, Araminta F, Dorcas and Harriet. She had a half-brother named Thomas.
