Valentine Roach

Valentine was born on December 29th, 1875 in Greene Co., Virginia.¹ Valentine's father was Valentine Roach and his mother is Polly Ann Morris. His paternal grandparents were Calus Roach and Elizabeth Shifflett. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Berryman Simeon, James H., John Bray, Charles Lewis, Kellssiah J., Elnore E., Melissa M. and Analiza. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 79 on August 28th, 1955.¹
