Skidmore Muncey

Skidmore was born in 1744 in Kent County, Delaware.¹ Skidmore's father was SAMUEL Muncey and his mother was MARY Daugherty. His paternal grandparents were FRANCIS H. Muncey and ABIGAIL M. Skidmore; his maternal grandfather is WILLIAM DAUGHERTY. He had seven brothers named Francis, Obediah, Nathaniel Calvin, William, Samuel, Thomas and HOLTON. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 53 in 1797 in Wythe County, Virginia.¹
