Samuel Muncey 
Samuel was born in 1740 in Kent County, Delaware.1 Samuel's father was SAMUEL Muncey and his mother was MARY Daugherty. His paternal grandparents were FRANCIS H. Muncey and ABIGAIL M. Skidmore; his maternal grandfather is WILLIAM DAUGHERTY. He had seven brothers named Francis, Obediah, Nathaniel Calvin, William, Skidmore, Thomas and HOLTON. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 71 in 1811 in Kentucky.1 General Notes
