George McComas

George was born in January 1895 in Mercer Co., West Virginia.¹ George's father is Josephus C. McComas and his mother is Sarlida Etta Mangus. His paternal grandparents were Archibald A. McComas and Survilla Francis Bailey. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Allen Verner, Edward Washington, Wade H., Anthony, Jack, Nora Belle, Maude Muller and Icy Lee. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at 1 months old on February 28th, 1895 in Mercer Co., West Virginia.¹
