Alice Mayeux

Alice was born on December 31st, 1896 in Plaucheville, Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.¹ Alice's father was Darius Mayeux and her mother was Leonie Couvillon. Her maternal grandparents were Sosthene Alexandre Couvillon and Irma Jeansonne. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Sosthene Alexander, Adras, Lumay, Irma, Agatha and Edine. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Henry and Edvise. She died at the age of 53 on May 18th, 1950. She was buried in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, Plaucheville, Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.¹¹
