Rufus was born on December 26th, 1856 in Cabell Co, Virginia.1 Rufus' father is Fernandez French Hatfield and his mother is Nancy A Harris. His paternal grandfather was James Addison Hatfield and his paternal grandmother is Surilda Dunlap. He was an only child. He died at the age of 26 in February 1883 in Lincoln Co, West Virginia.1 -
