Jacob Henry Eppard 
Jacob Henry was born on June 24th, 1870 in Madison Co., Iowa.1 Jacob Henry's father was William Smith Eppard and his mother was Mary Catherine Meadows. His maternal grandparents were Thomas W. Meadows and Elizabeth Breeding. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Willard McVernious, Clarence Monroe, Evaline Methena Jane, Sarah Ellen Florence, Lydia Manetta Gertrude, Lillie Victoria M. and Charlotte Della. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at just 10 days old on July 4th, 1870 in Madison Co., Iowa. He was buried in Pitzer-Eppard Cemetery, Jackson Township, Madison County, Iowa.1 1 -
