Thrasmond Pierre was born on September 5th, 1861 in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.1 Thrasmond Pierre's father was Augustin Pierre Couvillon and his mother was Eliza Jane Glasscock. His paternal grandparents were Pierre Couvillon and Marionette Marie Mayeux. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Septem Augustin, Narcisse A., Narcis Flamiclar, Arthur, Irma Irene, Anna Florence, Lucille Leota, Marie Elithea, Elmire and Ida. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 75 on August 6th, 1937. He was buried in Greenwood Cemetary, Pineville, Louisiana.1 1 -
