Isabelle was born on June 19th, 1867 in Te Bordeaux, Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.1 Isabelle's father was Gregoire Horatio Couvillon and her mother was Laurette Scallen. Her paternal grandparents were Pierre Couvillon and Marionette Marie Mayeux. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Gregoire Horatio, Pierre Charles, Valery Omeara, Marie Blanche, Rose Elmire and Cassia. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 86 on October 21st, 1953 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was buried in Metarie Cemetary, New Orleans, Louisiana.1 1 -
