Minnie Augusta was born on August 28th, 1899 in Cabell Co, West Virginia.1 Minnie Augusta's father was Charles Milton Beckett and her mother was Bulah Elizabeth Morris. Her paternal grandparents were Lewis Charles C. Beckett and Susan Porter. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin Lewis, Ernest Roland, Cyrus Dempsey, James Edmond, Arnold Newton, Betsey Ann, Mary Lucretia, Ora Estus, Emma Caroline and Lucy Alice. She was the youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 78 on November 26th, 1977 in Cabell Co, West Virginia.1 General Notes
