Letha Beckett 
Letha was born on November 3rd, 1885 in Cabell Co, West Virginia.1 Letha's father was Francis Marion Beckett and her mother was Martha J. McCallister. Her paternal grandparents were Lewis Charles C. Beckett and Susan Porter. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Raymond R., William Emmitt, Clifton, Robert Leonard, Lonnie Ezra, Amison, Georgia, Ollie and Effie. She died at the age of 88 in 1973.1 General Notes
OBIT: Mrs. Letha Alice Walker 88, of Rt. 1, Salt Rock, WV died Wed. at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted Fri. 2pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church at Madison Creek of which she was a member by the Rev. Wendell Wickline and Rev. Everette Dial. Burial will be in the Ross Cemetery near the church.
She was born Nov. 3, 1885 in Cabell Co, a daugther of the later Frank and Martha McCallister Beckett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Walker, died 1956. Survivors include 5 daughters Mrs. Blanche Midkiff, Mrs. Goldie Newman, both of Hungtinton, Mrs. Eva Berry, Mrs. Hazel Cremeans, both of Salt Rock, Mrs. Thelma Dial of Branchland, WV, 5 sons, Robert, Everett, Raymond, Jack, and Arnold Lee Walker, all of Salt Rock; two sisters Mrs. Ollie Ross, of Culloden, Mrs. Effie Porter, of Titusville, Fl, two brothers Lonnie and Emmet Beckett, both of Salt Rock, WV; 45 grandchildren, 45 great
grandchildren. Friends may call at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
