John Alexander Bailey 
John Alexander was born on August 9th, 1849 in Fayette Co., Virginia.1 John Alexander's father is Green W. Bailey and his mother is Mahulda Stover. His paternal grandfather was Isaac Bailey and his paternal grandmother is Judy Cooke. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Lewis A., Isaac N., Mary Ann, Ruhama, Eleanor and Margaret Orilla. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Thomas Jasper, Garner C., Henry Luther, Martha and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 31 on April 16th, 1881 in Raleigh Co., West Virginia.1 -
