Catherine P. was born about 1817 in Tazewell Co., Virginia.1 Catherine P.'s father was Jonathan Bailey and her mother was Elizabeth Thompson. Her paternal grandparents were John Payton Bailey and Nancy W. Davidson. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named John Thompson, Leland, James M., Burrell B., Harvey, Julietta, Nancy D., Lucinda, Elizabeth, Martha, Marinda K. and Mary E.. She was the second oldest of the thirteen children. She died on April 12th, 1902.1 -
