Straley Adkins 
Straley was born about 1805 in Virginia.1 Straley's father is William Adkins and his mother was Catherine Straley. His maternal grandparents were Jacob Straley and Martha M. French. He has two brothers named Caswell and Harrison.General Notes
Straley and Annie appear to have had ten children (there were other Adkins in Morgan County at this time too, that kinda get all mixed up together, so some of these ten could in fact be nephews, cousins, etc):
Straley Adkins applied for a land warrant & recieved a 50 - acre lant grant in 1837 on Devil's Creek in Morgan County, Kentucky.
