Thomas was born in 1718 in ,Louisa Co,Virginia.  Thomas' father was Samuel Thompson and his mother is Temperance UNKNOWN. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named ROBERT, Samuel, William, Joseph, David, John, Asa, Sarah and Elizabeth.  He was the second oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 56 on October 10th, 1774.
