William Henry Thaxton 
William Henry was born on September 5th, 1853 in Bedford Co.,Virginia. William Henry's father was William Henry Thaxton and his mother was Sophia Rucker. His paternal grandparents were William Thaxton and Katherine Tate. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named John Anthony, Ambrose Leak, Hammett Judson, Nathaniel Garland, Jospeh, Robert Lee, James Addison, David Leslie, Susan Hardy, Margaret C. and Mary Frances. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 67 on January 9th, 1921.-
