William Riley Tate 
William Riley was born in 1824 in , Rockingham, Virginia. William Riley's father was Joshua Tate and his mother was Susanna Hinecker. His paternal grandparents are Mathew Tate and Elizabeth UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents were Christian P. Hinecker and Nancy UNKNOWN. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Simeon, Preston, John Robert, George Washington, Sarah, Maria, Elizabeth and Phoebe Ann. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 30 in May 1854 in , Kanawha, West Virginia.General Notes
