James Sr Stone 
James Sr was born about 1745 in Pricnce William Co., VA. James Sr's father was Thomas Stone and his mother is UNKNOWN Sarah. He had two sisters named Elizabeth and Mary. He died about 1819 in Hardy Co., VA(now WVA).General Notes
Nothing has been discovered about Rebeckah's ancestry. James andRebechah lived for a while on his father's land. Most of their childrenwere born there. In the early 1780s they moved west. They settled inthat part of Hampshire Co., VA which became Hardy Co in 1785. In 1783Joseph Will sold to James Stone of Hampshire Co, 150 acres of land onlittle Cacapehon. This was followed by four other grants to James from1788-1796 which brought his land holdings up to almost 900 acres. Thosefour grants found in various volumes of Northern Neck .
James and Rebeckah continued to live in Hardy Co., He died in 1819.

James Sr and Rebeccah were married in a religious ceremony about 1766 in Prince William Co., VA. They had five sons and four daughters, named Thomas Sr, George Washington, Samuel, James Jr, William B., Mary, Margaret, Rebecca and Sarah.

Thomas Sr was born on February 27th, 1767 in Prince William Co, VA.1 He died at the age of 79 on January 5th, 1847 in Union Twsp, Licking, OHIO. He was buried in County Home Cemetery.1
Mary Stone
Mary was born on September 3rd, 1770 in Pricnce William Co., VA. She died at the age of 76 on September 12th, 1846 in Licking Co., Oh. She was buried in Baptist Cemetery, Licking Twsp.
James Jr Stone
James Jr was born on November 16th, 1780 in VA. He died about 1843. He was buried in Union Twsp., Licking Co., Oh.
Rebecca Stone
Rebecca was born about 1787 in VA. She died about 1861. She was buried in County Home Cemetery in Union Twsp.
