Margaret was born on May 6th, 1751 in Pendleton County, Virginia/Pendleton County, WV.1   Margaret's father was Nicholas Simmons and her mother is Maria Margaretha LNU.  She was an only child.  She died in Mouth-Of-Seneca, Pendleton County, Virginia/Pendleton County, WV.2 


Margaret's family with Johan Jacob Harper

‌Margaret and Johan Jacob were married in a religious ceremony in 1773 in Pendleton County, (West) Virginia.3   They had six sons and eight daughters, named John Henry, John Adam, Jacob, Nicholas, Moses, Leonard, Ann Elizabeth, Catherine Barbara, Mary, Sarah Margaret, Elizabeth Christina, Barbara, Aria and Leah.
