Johan Jacob and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony in 1773 in Pendleton County, (West) Virginia.1   They had six sons and eight daughters, named John Henry, John Adam, Jacob, Nicholas, Moses, Leonard, Ann Elizabeth, Catherine Barbara, Mary, Sarah Margaret, Elizabeth Christina, Barbara, Aria and Leah.
