John SHELTON OR SKELTON 
John was born on November 18th, 1821 in Tulmosden, Lab., Norfolk, England and his baptism took place there on November 18th, 1821. John's father was Richard SHELTON OR SKELTON and his mother was Elizabeth WILLIAMSON. His paternal grandparents are John SKELTON and Moll RUSH; his maternal grandparents were John WILLIAMSON and Ann EWEN. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Robert, James William, Robert, John Richard, Richard, William, Ann Mary and Isabella. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 7 on March 6th, 1829. He was buried on March 9th, 1828.General Notes
