William SHELTON 
William was born in 1835 in Saxthorpe, Norfolk, England and his baptism took place on January 1st, 1835 in Saxthorpe, Nrflk, Engl. William's father was Richard SHELTON OR SKELTON and his mother was Elizabeth WILLIAMSON. His paternal grandparents are John SKELTON and Moll RUSH; his maternal grandparents were John WILLIAMSON and Ann EWEN. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Robert, James William, Robert, John Richard, Richard, Ann Mary and Isabella. He was the second youngest of the nine children.
