Ann Mary was born in 1833 and her baptism took place on June 30th, 1833 in Saxthorpe, Norfolk, Engl.. Ann Mary's father was Richard SHELTON OR SKELTON and her mother was Elizabeth WILLIAMSON. Her paternal grandparents are John SKELTON and Moll RUSH; her maternal grandparents were John WILLIAMSON and Ann EWEN. She had seven brothers and a sister, named John, Robert, James William, Robert, John Richard, Richard, William and Isabella. She was the third youngest of the nine children.
