David Elizabeth SHELTON 
David Elizabeth was born on October 25th, 1855 in Riley Creek, Coffee Co, Tennessee. David Elizabeth's father was John Wesley SHELTON and her mother was SARAH EMALINE HAMBY. Her paternal grandparents were Jessee SHELTON and Lydia KEELE; her maternal grandparents are Eli William HAMBY and SARAH LEWIS. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Jesse Ransom, Eli Washington, John Bartley, Lydia Ann, Sarah Lucinda, Mary Ann, Matilda Frances and Narsissa Emaline. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 61 on July 4th, 1917 in Riley Creek, Coffee Co, Tennessee. She was buried in Baucom, Coffee, Tennessee.General Notes
