Jane Rankin and John Paisley
Jane Rankin was born 1771, daughter of John and Hannah C. Rankin . In Guilford County on 27 Nov 1790, she married John Paisley who was born 1764, son of William and Deliverance Paisley . They lived near Alamance Church. After Jane’s death in 1822, the family moved to Hillsborough, Illinois.
Jane and John were married in a religious ceremony on November 11th, 1790 in , Guilford, Nc. They had six sons and six daughters, named William, Joseph, John Rankin, Robert, Samuel Abner, Preston Albion, Deliverance, Hannah, Rebecca, Elizabeth (Betsy), Abigail and Jane Carson.
