John Rankin PAISLEY

John Rankin was born on February 4th, 1803 in Guiford County, North Carolina. John Rankin's father was John PAISLEY and his mother was Jane RANKIN. His paternal grandparents were William PAISLEY and Deliverance (Dilley) PAINE; his maternal grandparents were John RANKIN and Hannah Carson. He had five brothers and six sisters, named William, Joseph, Robert, Samuel Abner, Preston Albion, Deliverance, Hannah, Rebecca, Elizabeth (Betsy), Abigail and Jane Carson. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He died in Pilot Point, , Tx.
