Ronda was in Girl Scouts - Brownie 1/4 years, 1965; Junior 3 years, 1965-1968; Cadette 1 years, 1968-1969; earned her "God and Community", June 2, 1969. Graduated from Hiawatha High School in 1974. Brown-Mackey Business School as Medical Secretary, 1974-1975. Missouri Western School of Nursing, Jan 1981 - 28 Jul 1982.

OBITUARY-
Ronda Lee Wenger, 26, 600 Kansas Avenue, Hiawatha, died suddenly Wednesday, July 28, 1982, at her residence. An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death.
She was born June 30, 1956, at Fredonia, the daughter of Jerry R. and Dorothy Loucks Petty.
She came to Hiawatha in 1969 from Burlington.
A 1974 graduate of Hiawatha High School, she was presently in nurses training at Missouri Western College in St. Joseph, Missouri.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hiawatha.
She was married to Scott Wenger on March 1, 1975, at Hiawatha. He survives at the home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a five-year old son, Travis, of the home; her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Jerry Petty, Hiawatha; two sisters, Rita Petty and Jana Petty, both of Topeka; her grandparents, Mrs. Beulah Petty of Fredonia and Mr. & Mrs. Martin Loucks of Neodesha.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Walter Brant, officiating. Interment will be at Hiawatha Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hiawatha Community Hospital Heart Equipment Fund.
