John George Persinger 
John George was born in 1778 in Greenbrier Co., Va.. John George's father was Jacob S. Persinger and his mother is Rebecca UNKNOWN. His paternal grandparents were Hans Heinrick Persinger and Anna Graff. He had six brothers and a sister, named John Christopher, Abraham, Jacob Godfrey, John Henry, Paul, Philip and Catherine.
