Jeremiah was born in 1826.1 Jeremiah's father was Jacob Persinger and his mother was Elizabeth Humphries. His paternal grandparents were John Henry Persinger and Griselda Humphries; his maternal grandfather was John Humphries and his maternal grandmother is Margaret Humphries.
