Andrew Persinger 
Andrew was born in 1815 in Botetouret Co., Va..1 Andrew's father was Jacob Persinger and his mother was Elizabeth Humphries. His paternal grandparents were John Henry Persinger and Griselda Humphries; his maternal grandfather was John Humphries and his maternal grandmother is Margaret Humphries. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Henry, John, James R., William, Alexander, Jeremiah, Charles Anderson, James S., Ruth and Charlotte. He died at the age of 47 on April 24th, 1862.1 General Notes
