James R. Persinger 
James R. was born in 1816.1 James R.'s father was Jacob Persinger and his mother was Elizabeth Humphries. His paternal grandparents were John Henry Persinger and Griselda Humphries; his maternal grandfather was John Humphries and his maternal grandmother is Margaret Humphries. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Henry, John, Andrew, William, Alexander, Jeremiah, Charles Anderson, James S., Ruth and Charlotte. He died at the age of 75 in 1891.1 General Notes
